A Volunteer worker at a community center somewhere in Florida, came across our site while searching the internet for material to spark the interest of young children under her charge, in the art of a-Capella singing.  She thanked us for this link page in particular and passed on a link in return, that was found by one of her young girls by the name of Zoe.  I am going to post this link here and on behalf of the Strathroy Vocal Federation, I want to thank Zoe for finding this link for us because it takes us to a site page that contains a lot of historical information about an art that we enjoy so much and we wish her the best in her endeavors to follow her dreams in becoming a teacher of music; and here is Zoe's link: http://www.theaterseatstore.com/a-capella-theater

A site at http://www.barbershoptags.com/, contains 2545 freely-downloadable Barbershop tags, with more being added every day. Many tags come complete with learning tracks, sheet music - even video clips of them being sung.  Most of the tags are in the Barbershop style, but there are also SAI, SATB and other a cappella tags available.

The website was created by Daniel Gilis and to learn more about Daniel you can go to his home page at:                                                          http://www.vocalharmonies.com/index.htm

We received a note from a Girl Scout Troop Leader who passed on to us a link that takes you to a website that is actually dedicated to playgrounds, but much of this website is devoted to helping young people learn and understand various aspects of life, one of which is music.  One of the Troop Leader's Girl Scouts, who's name is Sam and who was striving towards earning her Junior Musician Badge, came across a page of this website, that contains a lot of interesting information about music theory and notation, and we are proud to pass it on to visitors of this website, with our thanks going out to Sam and her troop leader for for giving it to us.  Check out the following link:

A young student with the name of Megan, with a library media specialist, Charlene of the Hampton Public Library, utilized some of the above links to assist them in updating the library's media center, music theory, reference guide.  Megan came up with the following link to a website containing a lot of music theory, and as a thanks to this website for providing useful links to her, she passed her link on to us.  Our thanks go out to Megan and Charlene and we invite you to check it out:
