While practicing this song I noticed that I had somehow missed placing in bar #20, those two extra words "with you" for the baritones to sing along with the two extra notes that go with those words. This has been corrected. ![]() Those of you who have graduated to using the Noteworthy Composer Viewer to play the original NWC Version files, are able to scroll down within the viewer to see an extra staff that I have labeled the "Swing Staff". In songs such as "I Don't Mind Being Alone" we are told to sing it with a shuffle or swing tempo by putting a swing marking over bar #17 like the one shown to the left. I can get the NWC file to playback with swing in it by going through the score and changing all the beamed 1/8th notes to the tripleted notes as indicated in the marking, but it is a pain to do and the resulting score is complicated for us to read. Instead, a Swing Staff is added to the score that forces the NWC file to playback with a series of tempo changes, giving us the swing sound.
