Zoom, Zoom, Zoom Went We

On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, following John Gough's lead, we came together for a virtual meeting with the use of Zoom.  We had gone almost a year without seeing and talking with each each other, and of coarse, singing with each other, so this virtual meeting turned out to be an enjoyable experience for all of us.  Do to audio out of sync issues, Zoom does not allow us to sing together in the traditional way that we like to, but with our microphones muted, we sang along with the learning tracks of a number of favourite songs that Paul was able to play for us from his phone.  We could only hear the learning tracks, together with our own voices, but we could see the lips moving of all the others, and just knowing we were singing the same song together, gave us many of the pleasures that singing together has always given us.

From the meeting, we all got word of additions to the families of John Rofell in November of 2020, and of Dan Smith in September of 2020.  I'm sorry I didn't pick up on whether they were boys or girls, but maybe each of you guys could type in a quick comment below to let us know.  Congratulations again, to the both of you.

It was a good meeting.  Bring on the next.
